Our History

Debesen (Shanghai) Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. originated in 1995 as Shanghai Quanheng Metal Products Co., Ltd. For nearly three decades, the company has cultivated deep expertise across the entire value chain of optoelectronic lighting components and finished products. Initially, it focused on the R&D and manufacturing of cold-stamped parts, sheet metal components, and plastic parts, laying a solid foundation in precision hardware. In 2004, the company officially entered the lighting supply sector, becoming a qualified supplier for Philips and specializing in the production of luminaire accessories. It expanded into full-fixture assembly in 2006 by establishing an assembly workshop for batten lights and, in 2007, partnered with Akade (a subsidiary of NVC Lighting) to develop ballast housings. A dedicated downlight workshop was launched in 2013 to mass-produce the CR and EX series of commercial luminaires. In 2016, the company was selected as a qualified global supplier for Panasonic, providing components for indoor and commercial lighting products. In 2018, it added a workshop for LED driver power supplies and simultaneously expanded into international trade, mass-producing export-oriented products such as emergency lights and panel lights. Leveraging its extensive experience as a supplier to industry giants, the company has since transitioned toward the R&D of its own optoelectronic products and global export sales.

Our Factory

The company's production base is located in the Fengcheng Economic Park of Shanghai's Fengxian District. It operates its own modern, standardized facility, integrating the entire value chain-from R&D and precision machining to SMT assembly, power supply manufacturing, and final luminaire assembly. The facility is organized into distinct functional workshops adhering to both Chinese national standards and Euro-American manufacturing specifications; these include four key production zones: SMT assembly, LED driver manufacturing, wave soldering and component insertion, and multi-category luminaire assembly. This setup enables in-house R&D and production of components alongside one-stop assembly of finished products. Upholding a corporate spirit of "diligence, pragmatism, integrity, and innovation" and a rigorous quality control system, the factory conducts comprehensive inspections at every stage-from raw material intake to finished product dispatch. Leveraging years of manufacturing experience serving top-tier brands such as Panasonic, Philips, and NVC Lighting, the company has established standardized production management processes. This allows it to handle large-scale standardized orders while also providing OEM/ODM customization services to meet diverse domestic and international requirements for optoelectronic lighting products.

Our Product

Debesen specializes in a comprehensive range of LED lighting products, along with complementary power supplies and hardware components, organized into three core product lines. The first category comprises indoor commercial lighting-such as LED panel lights, downlights, linear fixtures, and grid lights-designed for general illumination in offices and retail spaces. The second category covers specialized engineering fixtures, including explosion-proof (CR/EX) series lights and emergency lighting, widely used in industrial facilities, underground spaces, and public infrastructure projects. The third category consists of supporting components, such as LED drivers, sheet metal and plastic fixture parts, and ballast housings; by developing and manufacturing these power supplies and structural components in-house, the company ensures independent control over core product elements. Leveraging 30 years of expertise in component manufacturing, Debesen's products comply with both Chinese national standards and Euro-American safety regulations. In addition to offering standard off-the-shelf products, the company supports custom development-tailoring appearance, wattage, and optical parameters-to meet diverse procurement needs across residential, commercial, and engineering sectors worldwide.

Product Application

The company's optoelectronic lighting products span four core sectors-residential, commercial, industrial, and public infrastructure-covering a wide range of application scenarios. Residential solutions cater to indoor lighting for apartments and villas, with panel lights and downlights providing general illumination for living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Commercial offerings focus on chain supermarkets, brand retail stores, office buildings, and hotels, utilizing track lights, grid lights, and panel lights to meet display and office lighting requirements. Industrial products feature explosion-proof (EX) fixtures and high-protection engineering lights designed for factory workshops, warehouses, and chemical plant facilities. Public infrastructure applications include underground parking garages, municipal utility tunnels, and public areas within industrial parks, with emergency lighting products widely used in fire safety installations. Additionally, the products are exported in bulk to North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia, supporting overseas projects such as real estate developments, supermarket renovations, and infrastructure lighting upgrades.
